With its lightweight feel and easy handling, the MachTac 4 is midway between a large knife and a handy machete. But put it to work and you’ll see right away that it delivers everything you expect from a machete. Most of its weight is in the 400 mm tanto blade which was changed from 440A steel to 1065 carbon steel. The MachTac 4 shows excellent handling qualities with the rubberized polymer handle. It comes with a nylon sheath so that you can keep it right on your belt.
